Washington Childcare Stabilization Grant 2022
What: Funds that are available to all Child Cares in Washington to help owners keep the doors open and continue to focus on educating kids and supporting families. These funds are non-competitive and are available to everyone that applied.
Who: Those who are eligible for the funding must be:
- Licensed Child Care
- Open license in good standing at time of application and award
- Not been closed for more than 2 weeks due to COIVD-19 per occurrence
When: Eligible Childcare providers must have applied by June 30th, 2022 through the WA Compass Provider Portal. Once application is submitted an automatic email would have been sent to confirm the grant application. Funds must also be spent within one year of receiving the fund.
How: Funding is going to be calculated by program amount + workforce amount + add-ons.
The program amount looks at the size of your program and the cost to running your program. The workforce amount must be used on your labor but is based on the estimated workers at your center. Verifiable add-ons are for providers who meet a specific additional criterion.
