Here are 3 cute Valentine’s Day cards that can be made using different colors and different size hearts. Children will love putting these together and making them for their friends or fellow classmates. You can also use white paper and let children color the hearts before gluing them together.
Bumble Bee Card
Step 1: Gather supplies.
- Paper, scissors, glue, and a marker
Step 2: Cut pieces out of the paper.
- 2 tiny hearts for the antennas.
- 2 tiny strips for the antennas .
- 5 medium size hearts using paper in 3 different colors.
- 1 heart the same size as the medium ones, but make sure that it is cut on a foldable edge.
Step 3: Assemble the pieces following the finished image on the right with the top heart being the one that has the foldable edge.
Step 4: Open the bee’s face and write a fun valentine’s day message
Lion Card
Step 1: Gather supplies.
- Paper, scissors, glue, and a marker
Step 2: Cut 1 pieces out of the paper.
- tiny heart for the nose.
- medium heart the face.
- large heart for the head, but make sure it is on a foldable edge of paper.
Step 3: Assemble the pieces following the finished image on the right.
Step 4: Open the face of the lion to write your valentine’s message
Ladybug Card
Step 1: Gather supplies.
- Paper, scissors, glue, and a marker
Step 2: Cut all pieces out of the paper.
- Cut 1 black heart and make sure it is cut on a foldable edge.
- Cut 1 large red heart and draw black heart spots on it. Then cut it in half.
- Cut 1 smaller black heart.
Step 3: Assemble the pieces to create the final image on the right.
Step 4: Open the lady bug and write a message.
